1. read different versions of the story and do a venn diagram to compare/contrast it. 2. Make puppets and have students work in small groups to retell the story using their puppets. Then have the groups volunteer to retell in front of the class. 3. Have students compare the physical attributes of the 3 materials that the 3 pigs used to build their homes. Make a chart. 4. Before reading do a graph of the type of house they would prefer to build. 5. Have groups write an advertisement to try to sell the homes they have built.
