I teach 3rd grade and last year I did the Magic Treehouse theme. Since that series of books is popular I'm going to try either a theme based on the A-Z Mystery books or the Capital Mystery series this year. With the Magic Treehouse series I was able to intergrate my reading with social studies and science using that series. It was great, but my group coming up has read them already. There's lots of things to do with that series.
