I found myself in a similar position this year, so I supplement assessments using the Developmental Spelling Analysis to place children on a "stage" and then have them pick words to supplement their weekly list, which follows the same patterns. I'm not sure if this is clear or not, but I used the aforementioned book to help me get started.Good luck!
