 I just really love this book. I have one for each of the grades I've taught. It gives ideas for classroom management, decorations, etc... My room had basically nothing in it - not even a clock. I was given basic office supplies, a gradebook, and a planner. I bought everything else. I love/need the following items:1. Superbook for grade 3 2. book shelves - lots of them! I use 4 in my classroom library and 3 for myself (I organize each subject so I can pull from them easily). 3. small plastic baskets - to organize the classroom library books by genre and/or author. 4. in/out trays - one for graded paper folders, one for returned work, one for papers to be copied. 5. bulletin board borders - general ones until you see what you'll be studying. I LOVE teaching 3rd - congratulations on your new job - I hope you have a fantastic year!
