It is definitely not right for someone to berate you about your job. I did however think that an ESL teacher would hlep students use the English language become familiar with vocabulary and assist in Language art skills. Of coarse you can only do so much so ai am sure you are doing all you can. The students that are in ESL should also have tests and quizes as well as assignments adjected to meet their needs by the teacher teaching them primarily
