How are you handling it? Knowing that there is an end in sight and most definately a more positive beginning on the horizon, you should be okay. Just don't blame yourself. I've seen a lot with administrators during my tenure and believe me, what goes around comes around.

Parents can be very powerful, if they are positive and not the trouble-making kind. I definately agree with Tia and those who advised you to get letters of recommendation from parents. That's a great idea. Colleagues as well...best of luck.
