I love it. I have done it with 3 partners over the last 22 years. The first two partners I did 2 days and they did three. Whole days. For the last 6 years I do 4 days and my partner does 1. With 2 partners including my current one it is/was fantastic. We communicate all the time. Have a book plus phone calls or see them. With the one it didn't work it was simply because the person didn't want to communicate. I don't think I would have liked half days simply because whole days is easier. We always split up what we taught and who was responsible for what. Parents never in any of the cases had a problem. My son has also been taught by tandem pairs and as a parent I think they got fresh enthusastic teachers. All these cases cover all years. My current class is year 1. good luck I think it is the way to go.
