The middle school near me has eleven pregnant girls. THere is a crisis center I volunteer at and there are 10 and 11 year old pregnant girls trying to figure out what to do.

Now, i certainly don't agree with alot of what goes on in catholic schools (that;'s what my own children do not go to catholic schools) however I think that money should not stop a parent from sending their child to a school of their choosing that supports their value system. I am not that selfish as to think that only some kids deserve a good education. I think that all children deserve a good education and they need an equal chance of getting that kind of education and one that the parents believe in. I can scrape and pinch pennies to send my kids to a school that supports my family values - or for free then can go to the public school down the street where they can read about 'my two mommies' in kindergarten, begin a discussion of homosexuality in first grade, expelled for passing out christmas cards in middle school, or the other weird things that go in (like in kindergarten there is no snack because it takes away from instructional time so they watch 15 minutes of a disney movie and sip milk, have no recess, art programs are cut, etc.). WHy should my tax dollars go to support this crap? why shouldn't I get some of my own tax dollars back to help me send my kid to a school where my values and where my pedagogical expertise says is a good place for my kids?
That's why I believe in vouchers (in opposition to the public school system) - so all children have access to the types of school their parents wish that they go to.

and again and again - i never said we should mandate religion in public schools. (see voucher stuff) - but i don't think it's horrible to talk about 'intelligent design' in the classroom.

self-gratification - is doing what you want when you want it, getting what you want when you want it, etc. (you really don't know what that term means?!?!) Instead of listening to a higher conscious - morality, etc.

why anyone would marry someone in the first place that was abusing them defies logic anyway. but out of all the request for annulments the catholic church has received - all have been granted. -

You are really anti-catholic, aren't you? You seem extremely bitter and antagonistic towards all catholics. I was raised catholic as well - and in a very loving home and loving community. I don't agree with many fundamental principles, but I certainly don't hate them.

and actually i know what I see is in the bible - that is what led me to convert to an orthodox faith rather than catholic. and yes orthodox believe that birth control is a family issue not a policy issue - no pope - etc. etc.

Have you ever watched the news? about the middle school oral sex crisis going on? or how about the school shootings? (weren't those all in public schools?)

have you read history and really looked into the christian burning people who thought the earth was round thing? Read the real history about that issue - all these things are thrown around without really looking into and investigating the truth of them.
