I don't know if this helps, cause my class is still bored to death, but the math bored I don't do everything on the plan for the day. It's way to much. We do our math board first thing in the morning, go into reading, and after luch we complete math. It breaks it up a little. Also We complete the guided practice together. Sometimes we actually don't get to, and I cheat and give both sides for the homework.....I don't kno what to do. The kids are not grasping various concepts and with the jumping around, I don't see getting to reveiew those skills. When does Saxon make time for that. Who ever decided to have schools do both programs was dreaming, becasue it's too much and doesn't work. I've taught using other programs, asn we accomplished more in one week on one concept than we do in two weeks. It's ridiculous.
