Scholastic Laveled Readers By AmberM

I am suppose to use our Basal however,I introduce vocabulary and Basal story on Monday. We read and discuss the Basal story on Tuesday, send that story to read as homework during the week. Then we read and discuss it again on Friday before the test. The other days when I meet with my guided reading groups we read at the level they are on.

I think to become good readers the students need to read more than just the same story from the Basal for a whole week. Just my opinion
