I don't like the custodians at my school. They purposely lock the bathrooms (the ones that are visible from the playground) because they do not want to clean two bathrooms. I have gone days without my trash being emptied. They rarely vacuum the carpet, and I am lucky if my floor is mopped once a year. Last year I caught one of the custodians smoking in my classroom. Custodians have been caught stealing from our school. Many of them have power issues. One stole a key from a teacher because he didn't believe she should have it. I don't understand how or why they have so much power. I feel that I do most of the cleaning in my classroom. They may have a hard job, which is why most of the ones at my school don't do their job.
