We've the same dilemna in our school district. The primary school has issued a new policy this school year. No homemade goodies may come from home for birthdays or classroom parties. All goodies brought to school must be store purchased and sealed with all labels. Then... read, read, read, carefully all labels before serving any child a treat. One may not know who has the peanut allergy therefore all must be treated as if an allergy could exist.
