One of my autistic students is enamored with the computer. We have had special programs installed that speak to him and allows him to reply. When he has an "episode" we limit his computer time. It hasn't been 100% but it HAS really helped. He also is routine-oriented, knowing like clockwork when he can and can't do things. He is the official time-keeper which is his job and his job alone. This, too, has provided a "calm". Good luck!
