As sad as it is, many teachers are required to do these tasks, even though they are not nurses. With the total inclusion law coming into effect these students have a right to be in the classroom with normal students all day long. I know this is very frustrating and takes time away from the other students learning. As a sub so far I'm not required to do any of these things unless I sub for the CDC class and there is always another teacher in there with me so she has done those things. However, in preschool I have had to lift a few students.
