Stuffed Animals

I have stuffed animals in my room. I use the dog beenie babies as desk markers for my students to know who the teacher helpers are for the week. I have three large stuffed dogs that I place in my reading library so kids can cuddle with while reading silently. They still love stuffed animals at this age and I use them in my room. I also have them write a conversation between themselves and their favorite stuffed animal. So go for it and use them in your class they will love it.
I have been teachng 5th grade for going on 6 years now. Good luck in the new year and new grade. You will love them!
