This will be my second year with the four-blocks framework. I am also adding centers to my program, which I did not do last year. In order to do that, all my science and social studies is integrated into reading and writing, and the unit center. I am really excited about this new year. I enjoyed four blocks, but needed to also have the center time to meet with smaller groups. I will use this time for several purposes, not just reading groups, since I will have a regular 30 minute 4B guided reading time as well. Does any of that make sense?
