scholastic website By mary b.

I had a Scholastic website when I was working on my master's and didn't have much time to spend working on it. (I'm more "techno savvy" now, so I probably would have been able to maintain it easier now). The positives:
I could work on it at home and on the weekends.
It updated immediately.
It has "point and click" options to Scholastic links and other websites and links.
It can be be password protected or you can allow access through your school's server.
The drawbacks:
Limited graphics
Cookie cutter type look to it (same format for everyone, just different content)
I like having my own website using Netscape composer, but it came in handy when I didn't know much about maintaining my own site.
Let me know if you have any more questions.
