I'm going to make my door look like a giant sun - with yellow bulletin board paper on the door - and basically framing the door with the circular part. Then I'm going "off" the door with orange and yellow rays. I'm going to cut tiny slits in the paper on the door and glue/hang the sunglasses. I'll write each child's name on the glasses first. The title will be "Bright students enter here". I also already have a giant pair of glasses that have my name on them that will go on there, also. I have a bunch of tie-dye pillows, tablecloth, and curtain that my 5th graders gave me last year - so I thought it would be a cute way to tie that in, even though I'm teaching 3rd next year.
