You really must get the Fountas and Pinnell book called "Guiding Readers and Writers". It's geared to 4th grade. I've followed the procedures for two years now and absolutely love it. My kids enjoy my reading class now, too! I've seen huge improvement in both desire and ability to read. Try it.
