I just read your post again and had to say this. I do differentiate my instruction for all of my children, No what we do in kindergarten is not best for kids. But I ask again---WHAT DO YOU DO?? How in the world do you change a whole districts curriculum??? You have said how things SHOULD be and I agree totally, but reality is different and I dont think there is any changing it any time soon.
