I usaully do cursive once a week for 20 min. I first instroduce a letter by writing it on the board showing them also how not to write it.I also do how to connect that letter. I have them sky write it by usin the model top hat(top) belt line (middle) and show (bottom) and then practice on their own. I do this with the students who need it since some come to me fluent in cursive. Others work independently on a book project or at a center.
