letting you teach By Carolyn
|
| Let the principal tell you how to teach, then do it the way you think is best for the children. I had similar orders this year from my principal. She told me not to do so much direct teaching to the students. I felt like saying, "Okay, let me get this straight. You expect the students to get the math processes through teaching themselves." Instead, I bit my tongue and continued to do it the way I felt would work with the children. Your principal does not know these children academically as well as you do. Therefore, take what she says with a grain of salt and go on.
