2 nickels make a dime 2 dimes and a nickel make a quarter every time. 4 quarters make a dollar and that is quite a lot 4 quarters is exactly how much money I have got! The tune I know is to "Miss Lucy Had a Steamboat" which is probably dating me, but I don't know the name of a more popular or recent song that has the same tune. I put this poem/song on posterboard and using velcro and paper/plastic coins, I turned this into a hands- on lesson of identifying money amounts and coin values.
