HI kAYLA. If I were you, I would just choose a writing stategy or topic to focus on, then look for lessons in books or on the internet that pertain to that topic. For example, you could choose a topic like using sensory details in writing. Choose a short read aloud to model with, and then look for short lessons that coorespond with your topic. At my school, we do a Writer's Workshop approach, but I would assume that in a typical Language Arts classroom some of the same principles apply.
