I am going to print this posting thread and read some of it to my class. They are complaining about how cold it is here in Michigan. We are also studying Canada and they will be interested in hearing about real life there. Also, they will be interested in hearing about not going out in areas where it is in the 30's.
Our school district's policy is not to let the kids out in weather that has a wind chill factor of 10 or below that. We haven't taken them out all week. I HATE inside recess and will ALWAYS take them out as long as the wind chill is above 10 F.
