Don't sweat the small stuff

Remember, the worst part is what you are thinking in your head. It will NEVER be that bad! I am so shy but once I get in front of a classroom, it all goes away. Just remember, they are kids! They don't care how silly you look or what you do to blunder. My kids love it when I blunder, because it shows them that I am human and they relate to that. As for a professor ripping you apart, they would never do that, because they know that you are nervous and a beginner. If they do rip you apart, that is unprofessional and their problem, not yours. Just do it, have fun with it (because it is fun!) and learn from your experiences.
