For earth day I like to read Miss. Rhumpuis and have the kids write about things they can do to help make the world a more beautiful place. I also trace hands and we draw and write about how we can help the earth and make a bulletin board "hands to Help the EArth". I do a pollution activity, where I have a fish bowl and a sponge fish inside it, I tell a story about pollution adding the ingrediants and we talk about how poor Fred the fish is doing.
We also make earth cookies, we take round cookies and icing we sue food colouring to dye it blue and green and ice them to look like the earth. I hope these ideas help.
