Personally, between you and I, I would not go to U of H main for education. The faculty is wonderful and so is most of the curriculum (as with any program, some classes seem a bit redundant)but the "powers that be" are AWFUL! I wish I would've gone to U of H Clearlake. I have heard only good things about the program and the over all atmosphere there. As for the degree plan, it seems to change from day to day so I'm not really sure what they have on there now. I did take College Algebra (at North Harris) and Finite, but not statistics. Also have to have Fundamentals of Math (may be called Contemporary Math or by another name) which is basically relearning operations and such so you can understand how to teach it. I hope this help, Rachel! I'd be happy to answer anything else. I'm getting ready to take my qualifiers on Dec 13 and 19 and I am totally scared about that. (I've heard some really smart people say that they passed by 2 pts! ARGH!) I guess I'll have to find out on my own. Good Luck! Suzanne
