    Giving tests

Sometimes I am asked to give tests. Getting them quiet is a chore in itself especially grades 6 and 7. It is harder to spot cheating even if you pace the floor. Unless it is the end of the grading period, I would postpone tests when I was absent. There are so many chances for cheating. And then the sub doesn't know if a student has to go to a special class to take the test (confidentiality in some districts keeps teachers from stating this on sub plans). And then if a student has missed several days and can't take the test on the scheduled date. Most teachers postpone tests but a few of them will ask subs to give tests.

If you give tests please state:
A.list of students going to resource room beside the word "confidential"
    B. List names of students who don't have to take the test and a proper place for them to go such as the library so they won't know ahead of time what their test will look like.
    C. Do they need to use text book or notes
    D. Some filler activity. I run off word searches if I know about this ahead of time.
