One I just started doing that the kids LOVE is "foam spelling". I bring shaving cream to school, and spray the desks with it. The kids then spell their words in the foam! Now, this has potential to be disaterously messy, but if you tell the kids to keep the foam on the desk, and use one finger only, it keeps the mess confined. It also is a great way to clean the desks in the process!!Sparkle is another game they love (of course, as I am sure you already know about this one!)
