harry potter might help

Could you try reading a Harry Potter book or something? i know these kids are crazy about Harry and they may actually sit quietly while you read for 10 or 15 minutes until the bell rings. I would rather hear my own voice and see them looking at me than hear a lot of chaos. You could let the kids choose the book that they want you to read- give them a list of popular titles that they could vote on and they would be more likely to listen. Most kids at that age still love being read to. This might buy you a few minutes of peace and quiet.
