getting married By katy

First of all, congratulations! Getting married is really fun and exciting. I was just married this past July. I was married out of town, but had a second reception for my friends here where I live (so they wouldn't have to travel too much to the actual wedding). I only invited people at work whom I consider good friends, which in my case includes my principal. Otherwise, I didn't invite the whole faculty...that would be a lot of people!!

Those who knew I was getting married did not expect an invitation. They were just happy for me and eager to hear all about it upon my return to school. In fact, many chipped in to give me a surprise shower at the end of last school year.

I don't think teachers at your school expect an invitation just because you work together (at least, I hope not).
You might want to share your exciting news with your students....mine were full of questions and they were all very excited and cute about the whole thing.
