    Character Pledge

    For 7 years my school has recited our own character pledge each day after the pledge of alliegance. It is:
    Today I am respectful, responsible and ready to learn. I will cooperate to make (name of your school) a special place.
    Maybe your counselor or staff can create something that reflects your building. Our main school rules are respect, responsiblity and the right to learn. We wanted our pledge to be simple but we discuss each part so the kids understand what they are promising to do! Good Luck.
