Do you have recess?

Does your school have recess time. My school lets us have 20 mintues each day. So at the beginning of each day I write the word BUGS on the board. Each letter stands for 5 minutes. If it gets too noisy during a transition time, I erase a letter. I teach 4th grade and they really don't want to miss any recess. Also, I am a softy sometimes and if they get a compliment in the hallway from someone else in the building, I will give them a letter back. This really makes them want to be good.
