No matter what!!

Teaching is an extremely important calling, but you also have to remember that it is only your JOB. Please put your needs and those of your new baby first. Stay out as long as you feel is necessary, and do not even think about your classroom. So many people are unable to have children; you are truly blessed. Please make your baby your first priority in life!! That's what will count in the long run; your child will feel the love you have for him or her - however, most of your students will barely remember or appreciate your efforts (not all, but really, you are only their teacher for 10 months, your child is yours for life)!
