introducing yourself

Hey! I don't know if you have already started your internship, but it would be a good idea to post this on the busy board to get a lot of responses. I wrote a letter to the class. Of course you are middle school where the teacher could just read the letter to all classes. This is an introduction of who you are. Kids are always asking you questions about yourself no matter what age. Just say who you are, a little about your family if you want, what you've done in school and why you want to teach that level and subject. Then invite them to ask you questions keeping it appropriate. they may even ask you if you have a special other person. Be honest but obviously don't go into details. Good luck!
