Our Science and Social Studies curriculum is based on our State Standards. Our standards are based K, 1- 3, and 4 - 6. As a grade level (3rd), we kinda developed a plan for each month and we chose a Science or Social Studies topic. Look at the Integrated Curriculum posting. That may give you some interesting ideas.
