    Learning Names

    I've used several simple tricks for remembering Ss' names. I've made quick seating plans several times already this year. I just sketch out the desks, then go around filling in names as the kids do their morning quiet work.

    I always try to make excuses to check the Ss' names. I like to look at names on worksheets as I walk by, ask Ss to say their name before replying, and to hand work back to Ss myself... all early on in the day. All these little tasks help A LOT to help me learn the names quickly.
