no child left behind

Perhaps my previous message was not written clearly. We have been told by our administration that we have to go back to being self contained in gr 6 by the year 2006. We can no longer be departmentalized in Grade 6 unless we have a major in the area we are teaching--ie Social Studies. I do not no anything more that this, and this came down from our administrators' understanding of the No child left behind. Now it could be that our administration has it mixed up, but I am sure THAT could never happen.  Anyone else hear anything along this line????
