We just had a shower in our building for a male colleague who got married! We (his team) asked for donations from everyone in the building and used new five dollar bills to create a money tree. Additionally, we passed around a blank book (one of those used by elementary students to create their own story) and everyone wrote "words of advice" for the newlywed. We served cake and punch with a side of M&Ms! He isn't someone who likes the limelight, so it was just enough to let him know we "care."
