The book "Guiding Readers and Writers 3-6" by Fountas and Pinnell is an excellent resource for any language arts program. However, they have great response questions that are broken down according to fiction and non-fiction. They also break it down into categories such as plot, character analysis, author purpose and so on. I have found that this book is the best investment/teacher resource that I have ever come across.
