Amber's request for Shooting for the Stars

Amber, the Shooting for the Stars is a positive discipline approach for substitute teachers to use in the classroom. I have it stored in my documents as a word perfect document, and have already forwarded it to you with details about where it originated. For anyone else who doesn't know the story, I acquired this method from a Substitute Teacher Training seminar in Tiffin, Ohio in February of this year. This training was specifically designed for individuals possessing bachelor's degrees, but having no or little teacher training. The state of Ohio offers substitute teaching licenses to persons who meet this criteria, plus passing a criminal background check and t.b. screening. Anyway, I have used it pretty exclusively since learning of it, with very good results. This method works better than anything else I've tried, including candy and holographic sticker rewards. I only have one year of substitute teaching under my belt, but I'm sticking to this method until I find something that works better!
