    Don't you wish sometimes that we could expel parents. Actually I know in some cases they can be "banned" from school grounds. Perhaps your school might have to look at that option. The only good thing is that from all I've read about what you've said about the situation is that she is very irratic, etc., I doubt any news station would take her seriously.

    By the way I'm guessing social services has been called more than once in the past and that is why she is so defensive. We have a parent in our school who is like that (though not as extreme as yours). She told me that I wasn't to let her child talk to anyone from social services if they came to the school. I told her I had no choice in the matter and actually I probably wouldn't know myself if it did happen.

    Parents like yours and the few I've had I leave to the administration. I figure I have enough on my plate with my students I don't need to waste time dealing with a parent who is unreasonable.

    Good luck with what is happening, I'm sure it is frustrating to say the least.
