I did a fun lesson earlier this year. I got the idea from Mailbox Magazine. The kids made books called "How to Eat an Oreo Cookie." FIRST...you twist the cookie apart. THEN...you nibble the frosting inside. NEXT... well, you get the idea. When the kids finished their books, they traded books with a partner, and followed their partner's directions to eat a real cookie. The kids really liked it. You can do with peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, etc.
