Are You and I living parallel lives!?!

I am in a situation so much like yours it is scary. 2 days after we came back from spring break I got observed. I met with her the very next day to request another confrence. At the confrence she told me that she has decided not to offer me a new contract for next year. It crushed me. She did let me know that I could turn in a letter of resgination so the non-renewal won't be on my record. I have only told 3 very trusted people here at school what really happened. And I have told some parents that I won't be back. They let me know that I will be missed dearly.Up until I was hit with this blow I was here late every day making things for my class, coming up on Sundays just to make sure it was perfect in the room, there wasn't a day when I didn't want to come in. And since then I have lost all of my drive and desire. I hate it! All I want to do is stay here and watch these kids grow up. I love so much about this school and the community. I just wish the principal could see it too.
