I can't wait to see if you change!

Not to brag, or sound cynical either, but...

I have won AWARDS for my teaching abilities. I still get letters and gits from students in the other state where I taught for six years! Some are in junior high now and remember nothing but the great things about my class! My evaluators have called me a "parent pleaser" and said that I give "110%." I think that I can now safely speak with some authority that-- EVERYONE is idealistic in college. College education classes DO NOT fullly prepare you for the realities of teaching. No teacher worth their salt would curse in front of the students or parents, and we all try not to reveal too much of our private lives too. Once and for all, if you have made the assumption that because a few teachers you have witnessed slip-up that ALL teachers are unprofessional, then maybe you don't know the full story of their teaching. In fact, the new teachers I have seen who come in with all of their "I will NEVER do this in my classroom..." promises, always end up struggling during their first year teaching. I am getting my Ph.D. in Education Administration. I can tell you that in a few years, when I too become a principal, I will chuckly silently if the interviewee says what you wrote. We experienced ones all know the reality and you will come to also. You'll see.
