    Philosophy

Personally, I would drop the "If You Give A Mouse A Cookie" theme. My professors all preferred something more geared toward the six major philosophies which have occurred throughout education. Many people lean toward the progressivist theory. It is a pretty safe thought. The progressivists are pretty balanced. They are concerned with both the child and curriculum. In this philosophy, the two are equal. One has no more importance than the other. I tend to agree with this philosophy myself. I feel the child and curriculum both are important. You must first reach the child before you can teach him/her. Just think about it. The way you want to teach will lead you toward the philosophy you most stongly believe. Just remember...every good teacher is grounded in theory. Whether they know it or not.
