give the child a work space at the back of the room where he can sit, stand or what ever. If you have to help him realize his own personal space make a circle around his work area with tape. Make sure you give him enough room to work on his knees at the desk when you mark out your circle. Explain personal space and that he can't infringe on his neighbors....again make sure you give him enough space. Try that and see if it helps...I wouldn't worry about the sitting part he can't help it...just put him in the back or along a side out of the way... is he noisy???
