If you have a principal who you can work with and trust, definately talk to her and let her know. As someone else pointed out, people talk aka "the grapevine". Surely she has seen things and heard things. Let her know how you feel and what you would like. Be professional and don't speak badly of anyone. Don't give any names...she probably already knows their names.
