I would. Showing true interest and enthusiasm can't hurt, especially if you couch it saying something to the effect of " I know I have previously expressed intested in the ___position and am writing to let you know that as time has passed I am highly enthusiastic about taking on this leadership role. Thank you again for considering me for the postion."Good luck!
